Most companies operate to a plan of some description, with a strategic view of what must happen within their business. But when unforeseen events offer a commercial opportunity outside of the plan, it's important to have the ability to respond at short notice.

I am accustomed to tight deadlines and high pressure environments. It's a business culture in which I cut my teeth and honed my skill. 


The days of big marketing budgets and long lead times have been replaced in many instances with short term, tactical spending. The ability to react quickly to new opportunities or respond in a market down-turn are key to prosperity and survival for a lot of businesses - especially start-ups and SMEs.


If I take on a project with these conditions, I know that speed to market and efficacy of message are crucial components to overall success. Never be afraid to ask the impossible - sometimes I may say yes.
